Cake for Everyone #1: Open mic and Zine launch

A year to the day since the massive Shipley Sister March, we are delighted to launch the first issue of the Shipley Feminist Zealots' zine, Cake for Everyone! Featuring stories, artwork, recipes, photography and poems that celebrate sisterhood.

Our launch event will feature stories from the Sister March, zine contributors and more. We will also have craft activities, refreshments, cake (of course!) and hot-off-the-press copies of the zine available for donations.

We would love to hear from local performers and activists who would like to share a story, song, or cause connected with our Zine themes of identity, community, feminism, creativity and cake.

We have tried to make this event as accessible as possible; families with children are welcome.
