Here is our schedule and the break down of our events. There will be local community organizations on site as well, and Open Sesame is open with great things for you to check out in there as well. A poster-making station and a child-mom rest station will be available as well. Check out some of the stellar women who will be on our stage!

Women's March Canada - Waterloo Region would like to acknowledge that Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Brantford are on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishnaabe, and Neutral peoples. We keep this acknowledgment at the forefront of our events and thank the Haudenosaunee, Anishnaabe, and Neutral peoples for allowing us to gather.
Women’s organizations in Waterloo Region with the organizers of last year’s Women’s March invite you to save the date for a timely conversation about women’s issues and practical tools for community organizing and lobbying in Waterloo Region.
We will meet at the Carl Zehr Square by Kitchener City Hall at 10AM. We will march at 10:40AM to the Kitchener market and back to Carl Zehr Square by 12PM for some live music and incredible speeches by female leaders in our community. There will be free coffee on site.
Our event is positive, safe, and welcoming to all that believe in the rights of women and girls. Be creative with your posters and chants, but please keep a respectful tone at all times.
March Agreements
Making Women’s Marches safe spaces for all kinds of people is critical to their success. We expect everyone taking part in Women’s Marches around the world to respect the following agreements:
* We will use no violence (physical or verbal) towards any person.
* We will not destroy or damage property.
* We will promote a tone of respect, honesty, transparency, and accountability in our actions.
* We will not carry anything that can be construed as a weapon, nor possess (or consume) any alcohol or drugs.
* We are nonpartisan, and will use the Women’s March primarily to express our support for women’s rights and human rights in our communities and the country, rather than to criticize politicians or political parties.
* We will all hold each other accountable to respecting these agreements.
