One year ago, the Resistance was born out of what we all saw as the democracy of our country crumbling before our eyes. In honor of the anniversary of the historic Women's Marches that took place all across the nation and the world, we are hosting Women's March in Albany 2018. We are a coalition of Activists and Progressive groups across the Capital District and beyond. We believe it's necessary to celebrate the history of that momentous event, and to continue to raise our voices and light the torch of the #Resistance! The time for change is now and we can't be silent when it comes to the corruption of the current GOP Administration. Join us to make your voices heard! Resist Hate! Resist Fear! Resist Oppression!
Sign up here so we know you’re coming! The event is FREE

J20 FUNDRAISER:
January 20th will be the one-year anniversary of the J20 resistance marches that took place in Washington DC. Over 230 people were mass arrested during demonstrations against Donald Trump's Inauguration. There are currently 188 remaining defendants who could face up to 60 years in prison. Therefore the organizers of the Women’s March in Albany have decided to fund-raise on their behalf We are currently offering Women’s March Albany t-shirts and sweatshirts (printed front and back) as commemorative items for the event. The campaign will last 12 days and will officially end on January 22, 2018. All items will be shipped after that date (and they will arrive 7-14 days after Jan. 22). 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the legal defense fund for those arrested at inaugural protests on January 20, 2017 (the J20). We kindly ask all of you to please show your support by purchasing one of these items. You can also show solidarity by sharing this message under the hashtag #IAMJ20
