Activism in West Footscray: ActionAid's local group launch.

Join us for the launch of our ActionAid West Footscray group.
It'll be a fun and inclusive night, with performances by local musicians and vegetarian snacks provided by the amazing Pod Café.
You'll also get to hear about the incredible women's rights work ActionAid Australia does, and, most importantly, what we can do together in your community for global impact.
Our newly forming group will stand in solidarity with women experiencing poverty and injustice in lower income countries, and run targeted local campaigns that address the root causes of inequality.
This community has stepped up and banded together so many times before and the potential for us to create change is limitless. This event will give us a chance to talk about how we can turn our ideas into action.
