Recently, JOFA held two "singles salons" under the title "Kashyas & Cocktails" to discuss dating pressures and singles life in the Orthodox community. The first event was geared towards younger millennials and the second towards those in their 30s and 40s. Our third installation is for parents who have children in either of these two categories and will be held at the home of Judy Heicklen, 734 Rutland Ave. Teaneck, NJ on October 23 at 7:30 PM. Facilitating the discussion will be Dr. Beth Hait, a psychotherapist and former Counselor and Dean of Student Support at Yeshiva University, who also led the prior salons. This event will be an open conversation interweaving parents' thoughts and concerns with information gathered from millennials in the Orthodox community.
