Liking and sharing is fast replacing the hard-fought work of retail politics. But can we create real change without taking real action?

How do we harness the seemingly unlimited energy and opposition — not to mention the fear and fury — churned up in the wake of hurricane Trump? Is online activism really the answer? Can we turn the tide of social media to our advantage, so we’re not just spinning our wheels and venting our rage? Liz Jaff is that new generation. She’s a progressive strategist, Silicon Valley tech whiz, community builder, and all-around unstoppable force of nature. Bringing the latest high-tech tools to the world of the DNC, Liz’s specialty is bridging the gap between grassroots and party politics. Earlier this year, she ran for DNC Vice Chair.
