A talk by City University's Mentor of the Year, Claudia Crawley: 'How Being a Bloody Difficult Woman Could be Good for Your Career’
Being seen as ‘a bloody difficult woman’ has an uncomplimentary ring to it. But to climb the career ladder and deal with ensuing difficult issues, that’s exactly what you have to be. Claudia's talk explores how to be effectively difficult as a woman aiming for career success.
Claudia is an executive coach and a career mentor for women in Winning Pathways Coaching. Recently awarded Mentor of the Year, 2017, at City University, London, she’s also a mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, assisting women business owners internationally to develop and thrive.
She’s the co-author of the best-selling ‘The Power of being a Woman’ and ‘Winning in Life and Work’ and her latest book ‘Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things’ (2017) is now out on Amazon.
She says, ‘women are an underused and powerful source of talents and skills that would enable organisations and the economy to prosper faster. My aim is to enable more women to achieve their often hidden potential, perform at their best and change the world for the better’.
Please bring some cash to make a donation on entrance, part of which will go to The Feminist Library for kindly allowing us to use their venue, and to buy tea, coffee and cakes!
