Sisters of Colour is a group within Sisters Uncut for all sisters who identify as black, brown, BME, a person of colour – if you’re not white, you are a sister of colour, and you are very welcome!
Under racist and sexist austerity, BME specialist services are amongst the first to get hit. Sisters want to fight back, and the best way to do that is to have women and NB people of colour lead the way. Come to our meeting to get involved in Sisters Uncut's and defend domestic violence services!
The meeting will run from 13:00-16:30. From 13:00 - 13:30 we will be sharing food together. If you're a new sister please arrive at this time to meet older sisters and have questions answered. Sisters Uncut organises with women (trans, intersex and cis) and all nonbinary, agender and gender variant people. Our meetings and spaces are not open to people who identify solely or primarily as men. Any questions about our gender inclusion policy, please don’t hesitate to ask. This meeting is specifically for women and non-binary people of colour – we kindly ask that you respect this.
