Facebook Live: Demand your MP takes action on tax dodging!

Join us for a Facebook Live tomorrow! Find out how to lobby your MP to ensure they take action on multinationals and rich individuals who are avoiding paying their taxes.

Right now, the Government is considering establishing a register of beneficial ownership, which would allow us to see where these multinational corporations and rich individuals are hiding the billions they should be paying in tax.

But they haven’t committed yet.

Multinational companies and rich individuals hide their money in a murky web of shell companies and trusts: money that can’t be found and taxed. A publicly accessible register of beneficial ownership would let us see who owns these shell companies, and demand that they pay their fair share towards a fair society. Its changes like this that will change the lives of women around the world, whose rights are protected through publicly funded services, like schools and hospitals.
