Avanyu Morning in the Garden!

The Avanyu is the Tewa guardian of water. Please join us for a morning at the Española Healing Foods Oasis and help us build a stone mosaic Avanyu in the garden!

In addition we may also do some planting, weeding, and mulching. We begin the day with a blessing, close to 9 am.

We will provide some light snacks as well as a big jug of water, so please bring a re-fillable water bottle.

All ages are welcome (though please note we aren't able to offer childcare). Bring a sun hat, and sturdy shoes. The garden is located in Valdez Park, behind the Española City Hall. (Heading north on 84/285, N Paseo de Onate, turn right onto Vietnam Veterans Memorial Road, you'll see us on the slope. You can park alongside the park, or in the lot for the Española Library/Lucero Center)
