Water Deliveries & Rapid Response Service Deployments

We are looking for some compassionate and caring folks to help us do water deliveries for homebound residents and families in Flint. In addition to water we hope to be distributing children's books to each and every family with children that are on our water delivery roster. We will also be deploying our RRST (Rapid Response Service Teams) in support for deeper services for those most in need. The water deliveries require some lifting and moving of cases of water. You will have direct contact and interaction with affected residents and families in Flint. Volunteers will be going out in teams supporting our ongoing humanitarian relief services to homes we have previously visited.

When using the signupgenius to register for water delivery shifts please DO NOT register for RRST (Rapid Response Service Teams) spots. Those spots are for folks trained up for those positions and who have additional training in order to do RRST deployments with our program.

Water delivery staff to show up at noon, RRSTers at 1pm.

Before heading out you'll be given training in risk management and safety practices in the field. After a few hours of deliveries you are invited to join our staff for a home cooked dinner which we'll provide and a program debrief discussing the days events and be able to share your experiences with your colleagues. The food and the discussion afterward are always amazing. Strong people skills are always a plus and a warm smile and a good attitude are a must!!!
