The The Xposed International Queer Film Festival has invited us to put together a program for The 12th Xposed International Queer Film Festival Berlin and we are very excited to present this short film program that we put together especially for XPOSED of new and old films from the last few festivals and one Berlin premiere. The program is dedicated to women who love women and consists of 5 films touching on relationships, coming out moments, sexuality and family relations.

Join us at Moviemento on May 12th @ 4 PM for the short film program:

GIRLS <3 GIRLS

Despite women slowly gaining more screen time on TV and in cinemas, the representation of queer women and lesbians in films is often lacking or reduced to one-sided stereotypes. But the real life experiences are nothing but one-sided. This selection of short films curated by the Berlin Feminist Film Week is a celebration of girls* who love girls* and explores the plethora of elements of loving women: the coming out, the search for identity, the first kiss, the romance, the hardship, the stigma and the sex.
