MARCH - for Radical Film Festival

GWL are thrilled to be included in the Radical Film Festival programme and will be taking this opportunity to put Feminist Film Making in the spotlight.

March of Women on Glasgow GreenFriday 29th April from 6pm to 8pm: MARCH

On Friday 29th April we screen MARCH a film championing radical women commissioned by GWL and RCS. This film documents a large scale public event ‘March of Women’ which took to the streets of Bridgeton, Glasgow on the eve of International Women’s Day in 2015. GWL’s Donna Moore will open the evening with an introduction to the film in relation to the March of Women project.

On Saturday 30th April from 6pm to 8pm we will host Feminist Films, Feminist Histories: an event exploring the making of feminist documentary and the history of feminist archiving and filmmaking since the start of the Women’s Liberation Movement.
