"BODY POSITIVE - My body is my temple" is short film program about body positivity and body autonomy.

The body is something that you and only you should have the right to decide over. But as we all know in particular for women this is not true. The female body is in many instances made into an object rather than a subject. A fat body is especially stigmatized and often seen as public property, free to comment on in a pseudo-attempt to save humankind from unhealthy bodies. This program is dedicated to the human and female body as the multi-talent tool it is, and most importantly to the free will to do as you chose with your body and celebrate it in all its forms.

After the films we will discuss body activism with feminist activists who are dedicated to the body empowerment movement. Missy Magazine contributor and Fa(t)shion-blogger Hengameh Yaghoobifarah and filmmaker Hinni Huttinen will join us for the discussion.
